Primary objectives

Clinical Scenario
Patients affected by psoriasis (PsO), both treatment-naïve or already on topical therapy, who are at high risk for psoriatic arthritis (PsA).
Aims:
  • to identify demographic, social and clinical factors which increase the risk for PsA and estimate their incidence and their weight;
  • to establish which patients should be further investigated and to define the strategies useful to better assess:
    1.    the presence of risk factors (all? specific subpopulations?)
    2.    early signs of synovitis
  • which patients should be referred to rheumatologists and how should them be monitored overtime.

Secondary objectives

Patients affected by psoriasis, both treatment-naïve or already on topical therapy, who are at high risk for inflammatory bowel disease.

Aims:
  • to identify demographic, social and clinical factors which increase the risk for inflammatory bowel disease and estimate their incidence and their weight;
  • to establish which patients should be further investigated and to define the strategies useful to better assess:
        1. the presence of risk factors (all? specific subpopulations?)
        2. early signs of inflammatory bowel diseases
  • which patients should be referred to gastroenterologists and how should them be monitored overtime.
